The main structure of electrolytic hydrogenation (AEM) technology of Yin ion membrane is composed of anteropatic exchange membrane and two transition metal catalytic electrodes. Generally, pure water or low -concentration alkaline solution is used as electrolytes, and cheap non -valuable metal catalysts and hydrogen membranes are used. Therefore, the AEM process has the advantages of low cost, fast start and stop, and less energy consumption. It integrates the easy operation with the coupling of renewable energy, and at the same time achieves the same current and efficiency as PEM. From the perspective of materials, performance, efficiency, and cost, the anionic exchange membrane (AEM) breaks through the material technology barriers, which is undoubtedly the optimization and change of electrolytic water technology in energy storage applications, and the optimal solution of hydrogen energy storage.
